2019 Executive

  • The 2018 Executive is returning same as 2018 season
  • Positions voted on were: President, Secretary, Convener & Social Director
  • In by acclamation: Treasurer

2019 Budget

  • Summary of 2018 Statement – $400 profit

Regulations

  • Helmets – supply your own (can be purchased at Eagle Beaver with league 20% discount) – helmets used by the league in 2018 are for sale at $10 each. No warranty or liability implied by WSMSP. Purchasers must sign a release to that effect.

General League Matters

  • Jerseys – in production
  • Parks – permits attached
    • diamond cost went up to $100/diamond from $25/diamond.
    • In 2020, the diamonds will be an hourly rental of $25/hour.
  • Mini-Tournament – Welcome BBQ (Hope)
    • Prizes – Best team & Sportsmanship – presented at the end of the tournament
  • Tournament – Hope (Director) – Tania (Supervisor), will require volunteers
  • All Star Game – Hope – TBD
  • Banquet – TBD (in October)
    • Prizes are based on membership numbers

NEW BUSINESS

PROPOSED by the Executive:

  • After March 22nd, yearly, application by complete teams eligible at the Executive’s discretion, if membership is down – PASSED
  • Kinsmen North – mushball for lefties (or both) – REJECTED
  • Players must have a 10-game minimum to be eligible for playoffs (includes the tournament) – REJECTED
  • Score sheets and defensive charts – must be submitted after each game (photo) REJECTED
  • Score sheets to be submitted (by photo) by winning Captain and signed by losing Captain PASSED
  • Defensive Charts submitted after each game – REJECTED
  • Player suspension or probation:– player can not be in a position of authority within WSMSP for 5 years (SPN to be notified) – PASSED
  • Player ejected from the league – can not return for 2 years (SPN to be notified) – PASSED
  • Substitute list for non-league players – REJECTED

GENERAL DISCUSSIONS

  • Injured player rule to be clarified
  • Return to wood mats w/hinges
  • Mark where bags get placed
  • Emergency kits up-to-date
  • Chelsea Fuller volunteered for Equipment Manager
